HiVE

Digital * XD Design

HiVE is an encyclopedic fashion app allowing users to learn more about
and shop the styles of their favorite runway shows. The entire app is exclusively
designed using tight serif type, an exaggerated reference to the design styles
often found in fashion publications.

Jumbled letters and icons create a unique visual texture that allows for the
user to easily understand and navigate the app while also providing a unique
and intuitive user interface. Most navigation uses a swiping motion, to select a
designer and progress to the next page the user swipes the name to the right
and to navigate back to the previous page they swipe to the left. HiVE acts
as an exercise in visual communication, brand identity, and user
experience design.
